Riyadh, September 15, 2025: Wallan Trading Company, the strategic partner of the iconic Lotus brand for mobility technologies, innovation, and sports cars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, unveiled the Lotus Evija at a special event held at the Lotus showroom in Imall, Riyadh. The event was attended by representatives of local and regional media, as well as a number of customers, partners, and those interested in the automotive sector.

The Lotus Evija is a new icon in the world of electric supercars, combining classic British design with cutting-edge technology. It represents a significant milestone in the brand’s journey to redefine the concept of luxury electric vehicles and is one of the rarest and most exclusive models in the world, with a limited production run of only 130 units. Fahad bin Saad Wallan, Chairman of the Board of Directors Wallan Holding Company, said: “The launch of the Lotus Evija in the Kingdom marks a significant milestone in our strategic partnership with the global Lotus brand, reflecting our mutual trust and shared vision to offer the best to our customers. We are proud to be part of this ambitious journey that combines Lotus’s rich heritage with the latest advancements in electric vehicle technology.” He added: “This launch aligns with the Kingdom’s directions and its ambitious Vision 2030 towards promoting sustainability and transitioning to environmentally friendly transportation. By introducing the Evija, we are placing our customers at the heart of this local and global transformation, giving them the opportunity to own a unique car that represents the pinnacle of performance and advanced electric engineering.” A High-Performance Electric Icon

The Lotus Evija is the most powerful electric production car in the world, boasting 2,039 hp (1,500 kW). It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under three seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h.

It also features a relatively light weight of 1,894 kg thanks to its all-carbon-fiber body, making it the lightest electric supercar in the world. This gives it an electric driving range of up to 314 km according to the WLTP cycle, while super-fast charging technology allows the battery to be recharged from 10% to 80% in under 18 minutes.

Aeronautical-Inspired Exterior Design

The Evija features a futuristic, streamlined design that embodies Lotus’s aerodynamic philosophy. Among its most prominent elements are the Venturi air ducts on either side of the rear body, inspired by Le Mans cars, which enhance airflow and increase stability. The car also features an active rear wing that automatically adjusts its angle and height based on speed and driving conditions, a Formula 1-inspired Drag Reduction System (DRS), and laser headlights that give it a cutting-edge look and superior performance.

A Racing-Inspired Interior

Inside, the cabin reflects the character of a sports car with luxurious touches, featuring carbon fiber and Alcantara trim. It boasts an innovative “floating” dashboard design and a steering wheel inspired by Le Mans (LMP) and Formula 1 (F1) prototypes. The car also offers an advanced digital driver information display, an integrated infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and five different driving modes: Range, City, Tour, Sport, and Track. Exclusive Production and an Exceptional Experience

Production of the Lotus Evija will be limited to just 130 cars worldwide, honoring its iconic Type 130 design and further enhancing its exclusivity and unique value for supercar enthusiasts. Lotus also offers its customers personalized programs and exclusive driving experiences that reflect the brand’s “For The Drivers” philosophy.
